01

Custom Design

Layout, typography and motion designed for your customers and your offer, with a finish that makes visitors trust you before they've read a word.

Built to Convert

Page structure, messaging and calls-to-action planned around how your buyers decide, so the site produces calls, bookings and sales.

03

Found From Day One

Technical SEO, structured data and AI-crawler readiness ship with the launch, so the site can rank on Google and be cited by AI assistants from its first day live.

Web Design and Development From One Fraser Valley Team

Many agencies design well and then build on a rented template, or build competently and design as an afterthought. We do both in-house: hand-coded frontends with real design direction, from a team with a computer-science background. The designer who sets the direction and the developer who ships it are the same people who set up your analytics, SEO and structured data, so nothing gets lost in a hand-off.

Recent Fraser Valley Builds

Fraser Valley Computers: a full storefront and repair site for a local computer shop, with service booking and quote intake built into a custom frontend. Surface Wizard: a booking-driven site for a surface refinishing company, with a bold high-contrast brand and an instant-quote flow.

Arvia Environmental: a brand site for an environmental services company, led by photography with clear service positioning. Vacterra: a product and marketing site built around cinematic video and scroll-driven storytelling. You can see all four live on our work page.

Our Web Design Process

Discovery comes first: your business, your customers, the searches they make and what the current site fails to do. From that we set a fixed scope for design, build and launch, so the timeline and deliverables are known before work starts.

Design follows, starting with the pages that matter most to revenue. Once you've approved the direction, we build, write or refine the copy with you, set up tracking and SEO, and test on real phones and browsers. After launch we watch how the site performs in search and in conversions, and recommend the next change when the data supports it.

What Affects the Cost of a Website

Four things drive the price of a custom website: the number of unique page layouts, how much copy and photography needs to be created, the features involved (booking, quoting, ecommerce, customer logins, integrations), and how much existing content and search ranking needs to be migrated safely.

A five-page service site and a storefront with online booking are different projects. We give a fixed quote after a discovery call rather than a range from a rate card, and the scope is agreed in writing before work begins.

Web Design Across the Fraser Valley

We're based in Chilliwack and work with businesses throughout the valley: trades and home services in Abbotsford and Mission, retailers and professional firms in Langley, and growing companies in Surrey. Local clients can meet us in person; clients elsewhere in BC and Canada get the same process over video.

Each of our city pages covers the local side in more detail, and we also have dedicated pages for small business website design and ecommerce website design in the Fraser Valley.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a custom website cost?

It depends on the number of page layouts, the copy and photography needed, features such as booking or ecommerce, and any content to migrate. We quote a fixed price after a discovery call, and the scope is agreed before work begins.

How long does a website take to build?

A straightforward business site typically launches in four to six weeks from kickoff: discovery, design, build, launch. Ecommerce and custom software features extend that. You get a firm timeline with the scope, and it only changes if the scope does.

Do you use WordPress or page builders?

No. We hand-code frontends and use platforms like Shopify only where they genuinely fit, such as ecommerce back ends. Custom code is faster, more secure and doesn't tie your design to someone else's theme.

Is SEO included in your web design projects?

Yes. Technical SEO, on-page structure, structured data and Google Business Profile alignment ship with the build, along with the prerendering that lets AI crawlers read the site.

Can I update the site myself after launch?

Yes. Where you need to edit content, we build that in, and we explain the trade-offs during discovery. You own the site and its code outright, so you're free to have us, your own staff or another developer maintain it.

Where in the Fraser Valley are you based?

We're in Chilliwack, BC, and work with businesses across the Fraser Valley including Abbotsford, Mission, Langley and Surrey, as well as clients elsewhere in BC and Canada over video.

Can I see websites you've built?

Yes. Fraser Valley Computers, Arvia Environmental, Vacterra and Surface Wizard are all live, and our work page links to each one so you can try them on your own phone.

Will you write the content for my website?

We can. Most clients know their business better than any writer, so we usually interview you, draft the copy from that, and refine it together. If you'd rather supply your own, we'll edit it for clarity and search.
